Our Army at War v1 #124, 1962 -Dazed from battle, Sgt. Rock unknowingly leads Nazi panzers right into the heart of Easy Company. Joe Kubert widely varies the layouts, each customized to fit the scenario or setting. His cover is a mediocre replica of the opening page, but the story art is drawn with the usual gusto. Kubert also includes an interesting brainwashing scene on page 18, showcasing a delirious Rock buffered by enemy soldiers. This story was later reprinted in DC Special Series #18. Other artists in this silver age comic include Irv Novick. This is 61 of 236 Our Army at War issues by Kubert.
