Lovers v1 #86, 1957 - Despite advice from friends and family, Susie finds herself perfectly content with dating the same boy all through high school. Matt Baker's facial expressions and figure drawings are far above the typical fare. Already a master of the genre, the artist uses different angles and lighting to add a more contemporary flair. Note that Baker not attributed to this story in many comic guides. Other artists in this issue include Vince Colletta and Jay Scott Pike.
