Startling Comics v1 #18, 1942 - When his buddies are hired to commit arson, electrical engineering student Dick Martin tries to foil their plans. As a result, he's wrongly convicted of murder and sent to the electric chair. Due to other circumstances, his body is suddenly supercharged with electricity. Donning a costume and naming himself Pyroman,  he metes out justice but the criminal mastermind escapes.
