Fantastic Four v1 #11, 1963 - Can the FF defeat an alien being that can turn into anything he imagines? The
Impossible Man makes his first appearance in the second of two tales in this issue. In the first, a day in the life of the Fantastic Four is revealed to readers, including a brief origin recap.
Jack Kirby's cover lacks the action and interest of previous issues. However, his story art on both features meets expectations. Dick Ayers' inking seems to be better defined and streamlined than usual. This Stan Lee story was later reprinted in
Fantastic Four Annual #3 and
Marvel Treasury Edition #2. This is 11 of 116
Fantastic Four issues by
Kirby. ///
