Fantastic Four #11 - Jack Kirby art & cover + 1st Impossible Man

Jack Kirby
Fantastic Four v1 #11, 1963 - Can the FF defeat an alien being that can turn into anything he imagines? The Impossible Man makes his first appearance in the second of two tales in this issue. In the first, a day in the life of the Fantastic Four is revealed to readers, including a brief origin recap. Jack Kirby's cover lacks the action and interest of previous issues. However, his story art on both features meets expectations. Dick Ayers' inking seems to be better defined and streamlined than usual. This Stan Lee story was later reprinted in Fantastic Four Annual #3 and Marvel Treasury Edition #2. This is 11 of 116 Fantastic Four issues by Kirby. /// key 1st appearance, 1st cover Impossible Man
