Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-man v2 #46, 1980 - The sinister Cobra may be a contortionist, but the way Frank Miller pulls his leg above his head still looks awkward. Add to that a chaotic layout and garish promotional banner, and the results are less than satisfying. Miller does cleverly use the tv antennae to lead the eye from masthead to foreground to background. Other artists in this copper age comic include Mike Zeck and Bruce Patterson.
