Tarzan v1 #90, 1957 - Arriving in the kingdom of M' Tembo, the Brothers of the Spear reunite with their old friend King Molithi. With his promise to lead his war elephants to Tungelu, Dan-El and Natongo travel further to gather reinforcements from Aba-Zulu. Perhaps Russ Manning's best work yet, scenes are rife with exotic buildings and landscapes. His depiction of elephants on the first two pages are especially good. Other artists in this issue include Jesse Marsh. Photo cover. This is 52 of 133 Tarzan issues by Manning.
