1958 - As Tavane, Dan-El and their army draw nearer to home, they are warned by Mobithi about an invading force that captured half the kingdom. Some of the enemy is captured but there are many more to go.
Russ Manning seems to struggle with some of the characters' facial features. Most scenes are well composed, but the large panel depicting an impeding battle (page 3) stands out among the rest.
