Love Tales #65 |
Love Tales v1 #65, 1955 - Pining for her handsome boss, Doris finally catches his attention when she volunteers for a little overtime. The title panel presents the main character within a montage of male suitors. Matt Baker's drawings are looser and more spontaneous than usual. Some panels seem to have lost some details in the reproduction. While occasionally distracting, in general the artwork conveys a dream-like quality well-suited for the genre. Other artists in this golden age comic include John Tartaglione and Jay Scott Pike. Cover by Vince Colletta. This is 1 of 1 Love Tales issues by Baker.
