Comix Book v1 #2, 1974 - Marvel embraces the underground comic market with this short-lived series. Mike Ploog does a one-page gag involving a woman walking into a bar with her goose. Brief as it is, the artist draws the scenes with care. Ploog's division of light and shadow maximizes the effect of a one color printing job. Other artists in this Curtis bronze age comic include Skip Williamson, Art Spiegleman, Basil Wolverton, Leslie Cabarga, Kim Deitch and Trina Robbins. Cover by Skip Williamson.
