Strange Worlds #1 - Joe Kubert art + 1st issue

Strange Worlds v1 #1, 1950 - In the far flung future, Kenyon of the Star Patrol takes on an epidemic of bold thefts by space pirates. Joe Kubert's large opening panel sets the stage for this sci-fi tale, complete with an exotically clad beauty. Black areas and shadows are nicely proportioned throughout the pages. This early Kubert collaboration with Carmine Infantino is possibly due to the similarity of their styles at the time. This story was later reprinted in >Out of This World Adventures #2. This issue also includes artwork by George Roussos. This is 1 of 2 Strange Worlds issues by Kubert. /// key 1st issue
