Star Spangled War Stories v1 #153, 1970 - Joe Kubert's dramatically cryptic cover and somber intro are the only new works in this issue. His  portrait of the Unknown Soldier (see interior page below) is a powerful reminder of wartime sacrifice. Following this are two reprints from previous decades. The second, "Fokker Fury", marks an early appearance of Enemy Ace from Our Army at War #155. Other artists in this bronze age comic include Sam Glanzman. This is 53 of 96 Star Spangled War issues by Kubert.
