Danger Trail v1 #5, 1951 - While touring the pyramids of Egypt, an American adventurer runs afoul of a plot to steal ancient artifacts. Alex Toth's pencils are loosely delineated, but maintain a high level of detail. Panel and page layouts vary in quality. The opening splash, depicting the inside of a pharaoh’s tomb, is adequately designed but largely static. Toth’s final tale of the series falls just short of expectations. Other artists in this golden age comic include Frank Giacoia.

Cover art credited to Frank Giacoia. It's brilliant- so much detail and yet a very eye-catching composition.
