World's Finest Comics #266 |
World's Finest Comics v1 #266, 1981 - Doctor Sivana attacks the Earth with thousands of spaceships in his image. Can Captain Marvel stop him and his newfound allies? (the answer is yes). Unfortunately, Don Newton omits too many fine details in certain panels. Some pages are better drawn and designed than others. Otherwise a fine inker, Joe Giella is unfortunately a mismatch with Newton's pencils. This story was later reprinted in Shazam! The World's Mightiest Mortal #3. Other artists in this issue include Rich Buckler and Bob Smith. Cover by Jim Aparo. This is 14 of 28 World's Finest Comics issues by Newton.
