Best of DC (Blue Ribbon Digest) v1 #10 / Secret Origins of Super-Villains, 1981 - Some of DC's recurring super-villains and their origins appear in this bronze age digest. Most notable is a new Penguin story. Written by Michael Fleisher and drawn by Romeo Tanghal and Tex Blaisdell, this is the long overdue origin of the character. Reprints fill the rest of the book, featuring the Shadow-Thief (Brave and the Bold #36 by Joe Kubert), Ocean Master (Aquaman #29), Captain Boomerang (Flash #117), the Shark (Green Lantern #24) and the Parasite (Action Comics #340).
