Tarzan v1 #126, 1961 - After befriending the queen of a neighboring tribe, the Brothers of the Spear come to her aid when her people are attacked by a common enemy. Russ Manning's page and panel designs improve with each subsequent issue. As with other works from the same period, the artist continues to hone his inking skills. This story was later reprinted in Tarzan #205. Other artists in this silver age comic include Jesse Marsh (on Tarzan). Painted cover by George Wilson.
