Pictorial Romances v1 #16, 1952 - Matt Baker provides the simply adequate cover, along with three stories inside. In
"Love Me... Love My Boss", an ambitious salesman uses his girlfriend to impress the boss, while "Coal Town Girl" tells of a girl's dissatisfaction with her small town life. Both tales are drawn with more fluidity than flair. As usual, Ray Osrin's inks nicely complement Baker's pencils. Both tales were later reprinted in
Teen-Age Romances #45. "Too Impatient for Love" features a woman who nudges her boyfriend into marriage through dishonest means. The inking is very light and ethereal, making Baker's pencils far less clear and distinct than necessary. This is 13 of 21
