Our Army at War v1 #94 featuring Sgt. Rock, 1962 - Hearing of Easy Company's toughness and determination, a Nazi general orders relentless attacks on them to prove otherwise. This test of wills is intensely portrayed.
Joe Kubert's pages are conservatively laid out, but impeccably drawn. His opening splash is a variation of the cover, which in turn replicates the story's climax. Neither mediocre nor exceptional, this is among Kubert's earliest efforts on the series. This story was later reprinted in
Our Army at War #177. Other artists in this silver age comic include Jerry Grandenetti. This is 34 of 236
