Strange Tales v1 #91, 1962 - In "The Sacrifice", an astronaut returns from Mars as the unwilling pawn of a destructive alien plant. Jack Kirby's cover and story pages have an otherworldly appeal similar to previous issues. Cover inks have been attributed to Dick Ayers, but the style seems more like
George Klein, who inked the story as well. This story was later reprinted in Where Monsters Dwell #18.
Steve Ditko tells the tale of a man who thinks he sees a park statue move, to the disbelief of others around him. The panels are almost all devoid of background, but Ditko's faces and figures are skillfully drawn. Other artists in this silver age comic include Don Heck. This is 27 of 82
