All American Men of War v2 #41, 1957 - Friends since childhood, Alec and Frankie didn't always get along. When fighting Nazis, however, the pair make a formidable team. Joe Kubert's exciting opening splash is better than his cover, which employs the same scene from a different perspective. His story art overall is reliable, drawn with clarity and purpose. This story was later reprinted in Weird War Tales #7. Other artists in this golden age comic include Ross Andru and Russ Heath. This is 14 of 46 All American Men of War issues by Kubert.
