Strange Suspense Stories v4 #2, 1967 - In the 22nd century, World War Three begins its destructive course on Earth. Three men volunteer to travel back in time and change a critical event. Steve Ditko's visions of a high tech future are stunningly portrayed, especially on the opening panel (re-used as the cover). His drawings are clear and sharply rendered. Most memorable is the time travel scene on page 4, where the artist uses ample white space to suggest the void (see interior page below). Other artists in this silver age comic include Jim Aparo and Pat Boyette.
