World's Finest Comics v1 #285, 1982 - This cover's dynamic layout and deft figure drawing are hallmarks of Frank Miller's work. Note how the Batman's cape extends behind Superman, creating light and dark areas in the background. It vaguely reminds me of a yin-yang symbol, perhaps suggesting the heroes' vastly different approaches and philosophies. Other artists in this copper age comic include Rich Buckler and Sam de la Rosa. This is 1 of 1 World's Finest Comics issues by Miller.
