Roy Rogers and Trigger v1 #140, 1958 - Upon the sheriff’s request, Dale Evans helps guard an eyewitness that’s scheduled to testify against an alleged killer. Russ Manning's artwork is a tad more spare than usual, most obviously in the backgrounds of many panels. His line quality and brushwork also lack sharpness. While print production may be the culprit, it seems more likely Manning rushed through this assignment.
