Tales of the Mysterious Traveler v1 #13, 1959 - Matt Baker illustrates a trio of suspense stories, all unattributed in comic book guides. The diverse characters include a humanoid from Saturn seeking plans to build a bomb, a greedy merchant who travels through time and a pair of fisherman who discover a sea serpent in a remote lake. Like the previous issue, Baker's pencils suffer from insensitive inking. His layouts remain intact but the drawings themselves suffer from harsh divisions of light and shadow. The first page of each story stands out the most (not surprisingly), but not enough to offset the overall dim results. This is 2 of 2 Tales of the Mysterious Traveler issues by Baker.
