Incredible Hulk v2 #364, 1989 - The start of the "Countdown" storyline, Walt Simonson provides the covers for all four parts. In this case, the Hulk battles the Abomination, filling the entire layout. His style is strangely reminiscent of his 1970s work but perfectly appropriate. Note the hourglass in the background, which would be a recurring motif in this series. Other artists in this copper age comic include Jeff Purves and Marie Severin. This is 1 of 4 Incredible Hulk v2 issues by Simonson.
