Showcase v1 #58 featuring Enemy Ace, 1965 - In this second Enemy Ace issue, Joe Kubert delivers another expertly drawn tale. The aerial battles are meticulously illustrated, using viewpoints that often bring the reader right into the cockpit. Sequences are beautifully choreographed and never monotonous. Just a tad less impressive than the previous issue, this story nonetheless retains a high artistic standard. This story was later reprinted in Star Spangled War Stories #159. Other artists in this silver age comic include Morris Waldinger. This is 9 of 19 Showcase issues by Kubert.
