| The Unseen #5 |
The Unseen v1 #5, 1952 - Arriving from London, a young couple is lured to the English countryside by the legend of a ghostly thief. Alex Toth uses an abundance of shadows and silhouettes reinforce the tale's eerie atmosphere. These are counterbalanced by other panels with greater details. Toth's layouts are a bit rigid, but showcase his fine drawing skills, especially on page three. Despite the numbering, this golden age horror comic is a first issue. Other artists include Ross Andru and Jerry Grandenetti.- - - - - - - - - -
