Walt Disney's Uncle Scrooge v1 #29, 1960 - Uncle Scrooge is determined to find a remote location to hide his money. He soon chooses the asteroid belt in our own galaxy, to the chagrin of Donald and his nephews. The spaceship designs and textured asteroids showcase
Carl Barks' creativity. Just like most Uncle Scrooge issues, the lead feature is lengthier and more robust (this story was later reprinted in
Walt Disney Comics Digest #2). All three tales are well drawn, but Gyro Gearloose's "Oodles of Oomph" is a bit more minimal (reprinted in
Walt Disney Comics Digest #36). This silver age
humor comic was published by
Dell. This is number 29 of 70
Uncle Scrooge issues with
Barks art and/or covers (not including reprints). Find >
