Thor #341 - Walt Simonson art & cover

Walt Simonson
Thor v1 #341, 1984 - No longer able to transform himself into Donald Blake, Thor adopts a new civilian identity with the help of Nick Fury and Shield. The story opens with a relatively quiet splash of Thor flying over Manhattan. The spacious backdrop includes both the Chrysler building and World Trade Center. In addition to his usually kinetic artwork, Walt Simonson experiments with certain layouts. Most effective is page 4, where the panels get progressively smaller as the woman Lorelei falls under a spell. This is 17 of 55 Thor issues by Simonson.

Cool to see that b/c Nick Fury's one of my favourite Marvel characters.
