Uncle Scrooge #13 - Carl Barks art & cover

Carl Barks
Walt Disney's Uncle Scrooge v1 #13, 1955 - When a series of earthquakes rock the city, Donald and the gang find the source deep underground. They discover the culprits to be round, rock-like beings called Terrys and Fermies (after Terra Firma). Carl Barks illustrates the vast underground caverns with great depth and scale. His drawings culminate in a dramatic scene where the creatures cause their biggest earthquake yet (page 22). A brief Gyro Gearloose tale contains Barks' only rendition of Mickey Mouse's nephews. This is number 13 of 70 Uncle Scrooge issues with Barks art and/or covers (not including reprints).
