Marvel Premiere v1 #25 featuring Iron Fist, 1975 - Iron Fist's last appearance in this title also marks John Byrne's first attempt at the character. The effort is largely disappointing. Layouts are poorly planned and his draftsmanship is amateurish at best. Al McWilliams' inks, unsuited for the super-hero genre, add little to the pencils. Byrne would follow the kung-fu hero to his own self-titled series, eventually making his mark on the character. This bronze age issue includes cover art by Gil Kane. This is 1 of 3 Marvel Premiere issues by Byrne.
