Tarzan v1 #157, 1966 - Edgar Rice Burroughs' The Beasts of Tarzan is freely adapted in this issue. Married to Jane and living in London, Tarzan's child is suddenly kidnapped by an old arch-enemy. Russ Manning fills the pages with plenty of action, featuring a no-nonsense, gun-toting Jane. To his credit, the African jungle and Victorian England are equally well drawn. Other artists in this silver age adventure comic include Nat Edson. Cover by George Wilson.
