Secret Origins v2 #1, 1973 - Following the success of two previous one-shot issues, Secret Origins begins as an ongoing series. Batman, Flash and Superman's origins are reprinted from, respectively, Detective Comics #33, Showcase #4 and Action Comics #1. The latter story appears for the very first time since the Golden Age. In addition to the Flash tale, an early Hawkman reprint by Joe Kubert (>Flash Comics #88) rounds out the book. While not normally a fan of reprint books, this bronze age series as a whole contains some real gems.
