Spider-woman #31 - non-attributed Frank Miller cover

Frank Miller
Spider-woman v1 #31, 1980 - This arresting cover features a nicely done transformation of the villainous Hornet. It's portrayed in stages, something Frank Miller often employed on other works. His dramatic, yet effective lighting techniques are also evident. Overall, a good effort executed with simplicity and clarity. Other artists in this issue include Steve Leialoha and Jim Mooney. This is number 1 of 2 Spider-woman issues with Miller art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Miller or Spider-woman issues. See also this blog's Frank Miller checklist.
