Forbidden Tales of Dark Mansion #14 - Nestor Redondo art

Forbidden Tales of the Dark Mansion v1 #14, 1973 - Nazis take over a French chateau during World War Two, only to find it haunted by the specter of an ancestral swordsman. The art by Nestor Redondo reinforces the story's light-hearted touch without sacrificing detail. The 19th century attire, furniture and interiors all suggest a convincing authenticity. Thankfully, Redondo's keen draftsmanship pervades every page and panel. Other artists in this issue include Dan Green, George Evans, Al Milgrom and Nick Cardy (cover). This is number 1 of 1 Dark Mansion issues with Redondo art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Redondo or Dark Mansion issues. See also this blog's Redondo checklist or Top 10 Redondo comics.
