Tarzan of the Apes v1 #159, 1966 - This is one of a series of Edgar Rice Burroughs' adaptations. In the first of a three-part story, Tarzan returns to the ancient walled city, encountering the mythical Beast Men and the beautiful Queen La. Despite the exotic settings, Russ Manning's high point occurs on page 9, as Tarzan's African lodge is burned and pillaged This issue adapts the Edgar Rice Burroughs novel The Jewels of Opar.
