Out of the Night #1 - Al Williamson art

Out of the Night #1, 1952 - Under the pseudonym "Harold Williams", Al Williamson superbly illustrates a story about a century-old werewolf pelt. The artist's sensitive linework pervades throughout most of the pages, especially on the title panel. The opening scene has a dream-like quality that's strongly reminiscent of fine art etchings. It's lack of color seems intentional, perhaps separating it from the surrounding panels. This is number 1 of 3 Out of the Night issues with Williamson art and/or covers.
