Magnus Robot Fighter #14 - Russ Manning art

Magnus Robot Fighter v1 #14, 1966 - Strange bubbles emanate from a newly arrived meteorite, causing all robots in their path to enlarge and run amok. Magnus gets help from an adventurous group of boys known as the Outsiders, who appeared in previous issues. Despite the display of gigantic menaces, Russ Manning opts for mostly medium-sized panels, which diminish the sense of scale. That aside, the artwork is as streamlined and engaging as previous issues. This story was later reprinted in Magnus Robot Fighter #31. Manning's back-up story is brief but equally well drawn.
