Strange Tales #160 - Jim Steranko art

Strange Tales v1 #160 featuring Nick Fury & Doctor Strange, 1967 - From within the Statue of Liberty, an invading army enters our dimension, leaving only Captain America and Nick Fury to stop them. Experimentation abounds in this latest Jim Steranko effort. Sequences are deftly planned to speed up or slow down the pacing. The drawings are riveting to say the least, yet it's the opening splash of a secret file's contents that initially draw the reader in. Other artists in this issue include Marie Severin and Herb Trimpe. This is number 10 of 18 Strange Tales issues with Steranko art and/or covers.
