Magnus Robot Fighter #19 - Russ Manning art

Magnus Robot Fighter v1 #19, 1968 - A new leader named Derkaiser forms an army of impressionable teen-agers, inciting them to attack the populace with headless rob-mounts. Russ Manning's artwork is widely appealing with plenty of action. The multi-racial Outsiders make an appearance, adding variety to the cast of supporting characters. Most impressive are Manning's Image-Robots, creatively designed to appear threatening and highly destructive. Another back-up tale of The Aliens rounds out the book. This story was later reprinted in Magnus Robot Fighter #42. This is number 19 of 21 Magnus Robot Fighter issues with Manning art and/or covers (not including reprints). See today's posts or more Manning or Magnus Robot Fighter issues. See also this blog's Manning checklist.
