Moon Knight #15 - Frank Miller cover

Frank Miller
Moon Knight v1 #15, 1982 - Frank Miller overlaps the title hero and the moon, purposely ignoring actual perspective. His design uses the Moon Knight's white cape to billow out into a circle, framing his figure. In a departure from his other works from the same era, Miller employs grey tones to increase dimension. While less recognizable, this clean design stands on its own. Other artists in this issue include Bill Sienkiewicz. This is number 3 of 4 Moon Knight issues with Miller art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Miller or Moon Knight issues. See also this blog's Frank Miller checklist.
