Beetle Bailey v1 #113, 1975 - Reaching the age of twelve, Bear Claw must undergo a sacred rite among his Cheyenne tribe. This text story falls between the two Beetle Bailey stories that amke up the bulk of the issue. It's also the second of two John Byrne works on this title. Somewhat serious in tone, the artist's drawings are oddly cartoonish. He gets points for creativity, though, using a Native American-style frame for the opening visual (see page below).
