Heroic Comics v1 #46, 1948 - Two brief stories of the citizen heroics are drawn by a young Alex Toth. In "Safety First", a school traffic monitor saves a little girl's life. Despite the gripping first panel (see interior page above), the artist clearly struggles with the layout. "Heroine Saves 11", about a woman's quick thinking that saved her family from a fire, is marginally better, mostly due to some finely added details in various panels. Other artists in this issue include H.C. Kiefer. This is 12 of 13 Heroic Comics issues by Toth.
