Tales of the Mysterious Traveler v1 #6, 1957 - Though not particularly exciting, Steve Ditko's cover provides a glimpse of the contents inside. The entire issue is drawn with a sense of mystery and unease. "Tomorrow's Punishment", about a mirror that sees the future, is the darkest and most detailed, laden with heavy lines and shadows. By contrast, "When Old Doc Died" has a lighter touch, particularly scenes of the main character's journey into the afterlife. All five of Ditko's tales are visually entertaining while consistent in style and approach. "Mister Evriman" was later reprinted in Tales of the Mysterious Traveler #15, "When Old Doc Died"was later reprinted in Haunted #70. This is 5 of 11 Tales of the Mysterious Traveler issues by Ditko.
