Tarzan v1 #236, 1975 - The colors on this bronze age DC cover are astonishingly beautiful. While having little to do with that, Joe Kubert does create a powerful scene of a trapped Tarzan fending off a hungry jaguar. The rushing water below is a nice touch, adding a sense of urgency to the dilemma. Other artists in this bronze age comic include Franc Reyes.
