Batman Aliens v1 #2, 1997 - Trapped inside a Mayan pyramid along with two mercenaries, the Batman searches for an exit among its vast corridors. Meanwhile, at least two aliens from a downed spaceship also meander through the structure. Like the previous issue, Bernie Wrightson does justice to both the dark knight and the Alien movie franchise. Stealthily paced, there are plenty of large panels at certain junctions. Wrightson opens the story with a dream sequence that inserts the Alien mythos into the Batman's origin. This is 2 of 2 Batman Aliens issues by Wrightson.
