Batman Nevermore v1 #2, 2003 - Saved from a vicious beast by the Batman, a young Edgar Allen Poe is now beholden to this mysterious masked man.
Bernie Wrightson contributes a gripping cover for the series. Inexplicably, his rendition of the Batman doesn't match the 19th century version in the interiors. On the positive side, Wrightson's architecture in the background nicely reinforces the era where the story takes place. Other artists in this issue include Guy Davis. This is 2 of 5
