Quack #3 |
Quack v1 #3, 1977 - One of his odder works,
Alex Nino draws a tale that combines sorcery, monsters and anthropomorphic rabbits. Writer Steve Leialoha also provides the layouts, but Nino's style clearly dominates. His artwork is splendid, displaying the skill and effort comparable to his more mainstream works. Nino's use of gray washes and solid blacks further complement his drawings. This story was later reprinted in
Star Reach Classics #3. Other artists in this bronze age issue
include Dave Sim and Scott Shaw. This is 1 of 1 Quack issues
by Nino.
