Twisted Tales #5 |
Twisted Tales v1 #5, 1984 - Residents of a small town decide to drive away a leper, who had been living on the outskirts. Naturally, there are unforeseen consequences. This and other stories become a showcase for writer Bruce Jones. Richard Corben illustrates the opening tale, but it's his cover that stands out. The dominant purple color makes the scene more cohesive, down to the purple tint of the townspeople. The yellowish-green glow adds a warm eeriness to the spectacle. Other artists in this issue include Val Mayerik, Rand Holmes and Bill Wray. /// select Corben cover
