True Secrets v1 #34, 1955 - After signing an exclusive contract, an ambitious young model becomes overworked and pushed to her breaking point. Drawn in softer, more delicate strokes, Matt Baker's tale has almost a dreamlike quality. On his opening page, a large vertical panel fills with one couple's warm embrace. The artist's best sequence is the main character's evening walk in the park, as she pines for her true love. The added details and sensitive lighting are exceptional. Other artists in this comic include Jay Scott Pike and Vince Colletta. Cover by Colletta.
