Strange Worlds v3 #2, 1959 - Steve Ditko's cover is not among his better efforts, clumsily squeezing the main figure into the frame. His story art is far better, illustrating the tale of a very small planet that flits around Earth, protecting people from natural disasters. Though well drawn, it's Ditko's inventive page layouts that stand out. His panel within panel technique (see interior page below) pushes the boundaries of sequencing. This golden age issue also includes artwork by Don Heck. This is 2 of 5 Strange Worlds v3 issues by Ditko.
